This page gives a brief explanation about the alphabet used in SIL publications in the Mixtec language spoken in San Juan Mixtepec, Oaxaca. Notes about the alphabetMost of the sounds of Mixtepec Mixtec are similar to those of Spanish, and they are written with the same letters.
